When Charles Duprey and Gary Kent founded Naturcycle, their focus was on applying their combined knowledge and expertise in compost use, soil manufacturing, organics facility operations, sales and marketing to lead the industry forward. Naturcycle is built on integrity and commitment to customer service, with the goal of growing a truly green business.
The president of Naturcycle, Charles Duprey, has been involved in some of the largest green roof and engineered soil projects in the country. For two years, Mr. Duprey managed the manufacture and delivery of the lightweight soils produced for the Croton Water Filtration Plant in the Bronx, which is currently the largest green roof in New York State, at over nine acres. He was responsible for tens of thousands of cubic yards of intensive green roof media, lightweight structural soil, wetland soil, and other specialty blends for this project, while at the same time managing another large-scale green roof project at the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. A project with complex logistics, Mr. Duprey was able to offer the best solutions for the ease of construction in addition to an excellent soil product.
Mr. Duprey and the Naturcycle team have supplied compost, engineered soil, and green roof media for golf courses, athletic fields, parks, landfill closure, residential and commercial construction, highway projects, farms and many other applications throughout the Northeast.
