Last week, we traveled to Sacramento, CA for COMPOST2026, the annual compost industry conference organized by the US Composting Council. With more than 1,600 attendees, the event featured a variety of speakers and workshops on a wide range of topics, an expansive trade show, and a full day dedicated to equipment demonstrations. During the closing awards ceremony, Charles Duprey, the founder and president of Naturcycle was honored with a plaque recognizing his work on updating the TMECC standards for compost laboratory analysis.
