Cal Trans (the California Department of Transportation) has created and shared a free video recording of a webinar series in a two day educational event on “Improving Roadside Revegetation and Stormwater Quality with Compost-Based BMPS.”
These recordings are very well done, with tons of pictures, charts, experts and even a panel with Dr. Sally Brown, Ron Alexander and more. They show common best management practices for compost like erosion control blankets, they explain the reason why it works, the application techniques, and the research behind it. It is one of the most detailed works we have ever seen put together.
Its a much-watch for civil and DOT people interested in a high level of compost use.
