Greenroofs.com is an important publication for the green roof industry. Its founders have focused on spreading news, commercial successes, and documenting the projects that have changed green roofing. This year they have taken the time to report on and photograph the Cities Alive 2018 Conference in Brooklyn, NY.

Naturcycle exhibited at the conference and attended many informative sessions at Cities Alive like “Greener and Cleaner: Strategies for Mitigating Post-Industrial Landscapes of New York City” by Susannah Drake, founding principal of DLANDstudio Architecture + Landscape Architecture. Susannah was light-hearted and entertaining, and it was extremely interesting to learn about her firm’s work with the Gowanus Canal Sponge Park. Cities Alive is a great opportunity to stay current on the latest in green infrastructure, green roofing and stormwater management. Although the organization is switching to regional shows in 2019, Cities Alive will be back better than ever in 2020.
