For the last four years, Charles Duprey, President of Naturcycle, has taught part of the Compost Operation Training Course here in the Northeast. The Composting Council Foundation offers this course a few times a year around the United States.
This class teaches the fundamentals of compost and composting, including the business aspects of composting, such as marketing. Mr. Duprey teaches an afternoon session on compost marketing with a focus on practical tools and interactive discussion. He volunteers his services to the Council, and the industry as a whole. Below is an example slide from his latest class at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, where 40 great students from throughout the country had great questions and interesting perspectives on compost.
