Earlier this month, Naturcycle organized a rooftop tour of the newly completed 65/75 Dupont in Brooklyn, NY, along with the New York chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. These two adjoining buildings are a shining example of creating green space and elevated amenity areas as the new standard for urban construction.
Participants were divided into small groups and rotated through four speakers that were involved in the construction of the rooftop amenity space. The topics discussed covered manufactured green roof media by Naturcycle, lightweight aggregate by Arcosa Lightweight, construction logistics by Solicito & Son Contracting, and pneumatic blower truck operations by Downes Forest Products. These partnerships were critical to constructing this beautiful outdoor rooftop space in the heart of an urban center.
